The Rab Valiance Parka is a long-cut waterproof down jacket designed to offer maximum protection against intense cold, wind, and precipitation. It combines 700 fill power recycled down insulation with Pertex® Shield waterproof fabric, creating a garment designed for severe winter and prolonged use in adverse conditions.
Its parka-type design, longer than a conventional jacket, provides additional thermal protection in the torso and hip area, making it a very solid option for urban use, trips to cold climates, or low-intensity outdoor activities.
The Valiance Parka takes the concept of waterproof down a step further thanks to its extended length and hybrid construction. The Pertex® Shield fabric with sealed seams protects against rain and snow, while the 700FP recycled down filling maintains excellent thermal capacity.
The use of Stratus™ synthetic insulation in exposed areas improves performance in wet conditions, preventing heat loss at critical points. Compared to a conventional down jacket, this parka offers greater overall protection and better performance in real conditions.

Valiance Jacket: same technology in a shorter, more versatile format.
Microlight / Electron: lighter but without waterproof protection.
