The Rab Expedition 1400 (QSM-25) is the most extreme sleeping bag in the Rab collection, designed for environments where cold is not just an inconvenience, but a critical factor. It is conceived for polar expeditions, 8,000-meter peaks, and sustained conditions below -40°C.

This is not a sleeping bag for occasional use. It is a survival tool designed to maintain body temperature when the environment is constantly lowering it.

Real technical performance

Its filling of 1400g of 850FP European goose down with Nikwax hydrophobic treatment provides an exceptional level of insulation even in the presence of humidity or condensation.

The Pertex® Quantum Pro outer fabric adds resistance to wind and moisture, while the internal construction featuring Flowgate™, trapezoidal chambers, and longitudinal baffles optimizes heat distribution and minimizes down migration.

The design incorporates a larger internal volume to allow for the use of expedition clothing inside the bag, improving thermal efficiency in real-world conditions.
