Description
The Rab Expedition 1400 (QSM-25) is the most extreme sleeping bag in the Rab collection, designed for environments where cold is not just an inconvenience, but a critical factor. It is conceived for polar expeditions, eight-thousanders, and sustained conditions below -40°C.
It is not a bag for occasional use. It is a survival tool designed to maintain body temperature when the environment constantly reduces it.
Real Technical Performance
Its filling of 1400 g of 850FP European goose down with Nikwax hydrophobic treatment provides an exceptional level of insulation even in the presence of humidity or condensation.
The outer fabric Pertex® Quantum Pro adds wind and moisture resistance, while the internal construction with Flowgate™, trapezoidal chambers, and longitudinal baffles optimizes heat distribution and minimizes down migration.
The design incorporates greater internal volume to allow the use of expedition clothing inside the bag, improving thermal efficiency in real conditions.
