Description
The Rab Expedition 1200 (QSM-26) is a sleeping bag designed for extreme cold expeditions where thermal reliability is critical, but with a slightly more optimized balance than the 1400 model in terms of weight and volume.
It is intended for severe high-mountain conditions, winter expeditions, and environments below -30°C, where insulation must be constant and predictable.
Real technical performance
Its filling of 1200 g of 850FP European goose down with Nikwax hydrophobic treatment provides excellent thermal capacity in extreme cold conditions.
The Pertex® Quantum Pro fabric protects against moisture and wind, while the construction with longitudinal baffles, trapezoidal chambers, and Flowgate™ technology ensures homogeneous heat distribution and prevents down migration.
The interior volume allows the use of expedition clothing, improving performance in real scenarios.

It does not compete with ranges like Neutrino or Alpine, as it is designed exclusively for extreme cold environments.
Recommended use
- Winter high mountain expeditions
- Conditions below -30°C
- Glacier bivouac
