Description

The Rab Neutrino Pro Hoody is a technical down jacket designed for winter mountaineering, climbing, and alpine pursuits in cold conditions. Rab positions it above the Electron Pro in terms of insulation, while maintaining a relatively lightweight and compressible construction for its thermal level.

It uses 212 g of 800FP European goose down (size M) and a 20D Pertex® Quantum Pro shell that is resistant to light weather and the typical abrasion of alpine terrain.

Real Technical Performance

Weighing 563 g in size M, the Neutrino Pro prioritizes a higher thermal margin for mountaineering and winter climbing. Its stitch-through baffles help keep the weight down and facilitate packing into a backpack.

The Pertex® Quantum Pro provides protection against wind, dry snow, and light precipitation, but does not make the jacket waterproof. For sustained rain or wet snow, a hardshell must be worn.
