Offering instant, reliable warmth and working hard to regulate temperature when tension rises, the Xenair is Rab's intelligent new range for all types of demanding alpine activities, from mountaineering to ski mountaineering.
Built with a lightweight Pertex® Quantum Air exterior, the Xenair range is highly breathable and weather resistant. It's insulated with two densities of recycled PrimaLoft® Gold Active + insulation, strategically body-mapped to provide warmth and breathability in high-heat areas. This effectively regulates body temperature when the slope increases or the outside temperature drops, keeping you warm when static and increasing airflow when on the move.
In addition to packability and warmth, the Xenair Alpine features a full suite of alpine features. It has an insulated helmet-compatible hood with a semi-elasticated face opening and rear adjustment. The sleeves are articulated for mobility with elasticated cuff gussets for a perfect fit with gloves.
The Xenair Alpine jacket has a two-way YKK VISLON front zipper that allows for easy belaying, with an insulated zipper baffle and a comfortable chin guard.

A durable water repellent (DWR) finish sheds light rain and snow to provide additional weather protection.

PrimaLoft Gold Active + contains 55% post-consumer recycled material. This latest innovation uses a special fiber structure that allows apparel designers like Rab to use highly breathable liners and outer fabrics for better moisture management and comfort, without compromising thermal performance.
It builds on Primaloft's proven fabric technology: millions of air chambers in the microfiber trap body heat to provide superior warmth in cold weather conditions. The permanently water-repellent finish is designed to ensure perfect warmth even when wet, and the extremely soft and lightweight insulation is highly packable.
