A shoe for every activity
From the hills of Montebelluna (Italy) to the highest peaks in the world: this is the extraordinary journey Garmont has made in over 50 years since its founding in 1964. We have loved every minute of this journey, and for this reason our goal is to fuel the passion of every outdoor lover, pushing them beyond the mental limits of everyday life, in the knowledge that there are challenges to overcome even in our daily lives, whatever that may be. For Garmont, this philosophy is embodied in the motto "Stay Wild".
For all those who love the active side of life, Garmont develops innovative and high-quality footwear, characterized by patented technologies, and designed to provide additional equipment in achieving their personal goals. Because you don't need to be extraordinary to do extraordinary things.
Fast Hiking
In speed hiking, the pace is faster than in hiking but without reaching the intensity of trail running, which allows for a more athletic approach to your mountain routes. In any case, the goal remains the same: to enjoy the natural environment and improve physical and mental condition to achieve a healthier life.
Hiking
The most comfortable footwear for your hiking activities. Italian design and style mixed with the most modern development and technologies aimed at the world of mountain footwear.
Mountaineering
Generally, hiking boots and mountaineering boots are quite similar. However, Garmont offers you a specialized model for practically any activity you want to do.
Lifestyle
Despite its specialization in footwear for technical activities, Garmont also focuses a large part of its development efforts on its range of everyday shoes.
Comfortable and durable models inspired by Italian runways.

ADD® - ANATOMICALLY DIRECTED DESIGN
Garmont® anatomical design (a.d.d.®) encourages the foot to use its natural ability to find stability, absorb impacts, and provide effective propulsion. The design and functionality adapt to the typical asymmetries of the foot, improving fit.
The foot is an extremely complex anatomical structure: 26 bones, 33 joints, and over 100 muscles, tendons, and ligaments. Garmont® boots are designed to experience the mountains in the best possible way. It starts from the inside out: understanding foot anatomy, analyzing movement, and determining what can guarantee the best performance.
GORE TEX® SURROUND
The first fully waterproof and breathable hiking shoe/boot.
With this construction, openings are placed next to the sole. Moisture and heat are not only directed outwards through the upper part of the shoe but also downwards through the Gore-Tex® laminate into a ventilation grid. From there, they can escape through large side openings in the sole. Your feet stay cool, dry, and comfortable even at higher temperatures.

PROGRESSIVE LASTING BOARD
Heel locks to optimally enclose the heel and prevent blisters.
The choice of mountain boots is undoubtedly closely linked to the terrain, environmental conditions, and therefore the context in which they are used. A well-chosen boot not only allows you to enjoy your time in the mountains comfortably, with your feet protected, but also, and most importantly, helps to increase your safety.
Therefore, it is important to choose carefully, paying attention to adequate warmth and waterproof performance, the correct sole flex, and reliability with crampons, without forgetting ankle support and protection, and last but not least, comfort. In short, it is essential to know the type of activity to be carried out and its seasonality.
