The Rab Ascendor Hoody QFG-62 is a warm, breathable, and stretchy technical mid-layer designed for mountaineering, climbing, and technical ascents in cold conditions. Its Thermic™ G grid-back fabric balances insulation, moisture wicking, and breathability, adapting to the exertion level during intense activities.

Within the Ascendor family, this Hoody offers an extra level of thermal protection compared to the Ascendor Light. We find it especially suitable for mountaineering and winter climbing, when you need a layer that manages heat well while moving but provides enough warmth in cold conditions.

The 235g/m² Thermic™ G Soft Fleece features an interior grid structure to reduce weight, increase breathability, and speed up drying. Rab also incorporates 136g/m² Matrix™ Single Weave Softshell with fluorocarbon-free DWR in key areas.
